At the end of March\/beginning of April, I got the chance of an action packed trip to Holland.<\/p>\n

Unlike my ususal trips, I took the afternoon flight with Aer Lingus to Amsterdam. The down side was that I arrived quite late in Bergen op Zoom. But the journey went well and I got a chance to see my dad still that evening.<\/p>\n

The next day after a quick lunch at my dad’s I travelled by train to Venray where I was welcomed by Wim. After a tasty dinner we went to the meeting where I met many of my old dear friends. Unlike me (maybe I’m wrong here), they all had grown older in the last decade or two that I had not seen them. After a morning in the serice we went to Andrea’s house. It is avery nice place. I forgot to ask her if I could post the pictures I took so sadly this has to wait.In the afternoon we went for a nice walk near Well (Yes that is a name of a place near Venray!) I had forgotten how beautiful it is down there. You would like to see some pictures? OK here they are.<\/p>\n

Sadly the next day I had to pack my bags early to travel to Halsteren and get ready for the family reunion (see the seperate page on this website)<\/p>\n

Sunday Anny and myself went in the Evening to Kees & Corry where I had my favourite food. Chips!<\/p>\n

The remainder of the time was mainly spent on shopping and some other visits. The one that stands out the most is to Oom Pietje as I did not think at the time that it would be the last time I would see him!<\/p>\n

So thanks to all who looked after me so well. And please come and see us.<\/p>\n
