We had a great time in the Raayberg in Bergen op Zoom where we had our family reunion.
Everyone belonging to the Bakx (my mothers side) clan was there and most of the ones married into this marvelous family.
There was a great atmosphere and there was a lot of catching up to do. From the sad death of cousin Jan, kids having near misses in Brussels airport during the bombings to ‘Oom Piet’ who sadly died not to longer afterwards. My father (91 in May) is the sole title holder to the older generation now. He still made it to the reunion!
Before we knew it, it was time to go home. Hopefully we can do it next year again.
